About Us

Having immigrated from Germany, I brought over my first two Westies in 1995. Actually, I only wanted to buy one but couldn’t make up my mind which one to pick, so I got two sisters. Later a little boy joined us (from Germany as well), and the story continues until today.

Our breeding philosophy - All my dogs come from Europe or are descendants of European dogs. My breeding program is based on the very old “Famecheck” line, once the No. 1 kennel in Great Britain. All the dogs live in the house with us and the puppies are raised in the house too. Usually the puppies are already spoken for when they are born so it’s a good idea to put your name on my waiting list if you are seriously interested in getting one of our puppies. When they leave here, the puppies have been vet checked, have their first needles, have been wormed twice, are micro chipped and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.

We live in the country on a big property and besides having a huge run, the dogs get to go for walks with us several times a day. They climb on tree stumps, fetch sticks and balls for us, and have a very active life. They even like to play with our miniature donkeys and of course with Buttons, our Persian cat! My dogs have no known allergies or skin problems, and make wonderful pets for a loving home.
